Japan- Horse park, roller slides, fall and the Gorge

One of the things I love about living here is the markets.  My favorite thing about the markets are the flowers.  Sometimes I splurge and pay 2 dollars for some of these Gerber daisies.  I get 4 or 5 for the $2 and they last weeks.  I love it!

We had a few days off of school so went on a few day trips.  One is called the Towada horse park with some fun roller slides.  The Japanese have the best parks and slides.  They are so fun and free.

I loved the view from up high where we were and I loved the flowers.  The kids loved climbing on top of this crazy shaped slide and we all loved the roller slides.  Although we were boiling because it was a nice day and we had to hike to the top over and over!

I love driving places because there is so much to see and enjoy on the trip.  I love to see this part of the harvest...so cool.

The dirt here is so dark and rich.  It is beautiful!

One of the days we went to the Samurai houses.  It was the least favorite of our days.....the roller slides were way better and WAY closer!  Here is what we saw in the Samauri village.  I don't remember any history details...I was busy chasing little ones!

This wall with holes casts a shadow.

The roofs are cool made out of thick straw.

Our last day we went to the Gorge.  We timed it just right with the fall foliage.  It was beautiful.  I love fall and the leaves!  I missed not having fall while in Florida.  The Japanese Maple trees are incredible.  Of course non of our photos do any of it justice.

When we got driving up the mountain it was the craziest thing ever.  It was so busy and crowded.  Buses and tourists everywhere.  We hadn't seen that many people ever in Japan.  The mountain was bustling with people.  It was miles up the gorge with a waterfall literally every few yards.  There was a trail right by the road and then the waterfalls right there.  After you get to the top it opens to a huge lake.  It was awesome.  We can't wait to go back when the waterfalls freeze!
