We aren't in Destin anymore!

For Labor Day we checked out one of the beaches near us.  We had not seen the ocean yet but knew it was close. We actually live just as close to it here as we did in Florida but you can't see it.  It takes about 20 minutes to get there but it really is close.  I am convinced we lived minutes from the most beautiful beach in the US while in Florida.  So we are a bit of beach snobs now.  This was nothing to compare....dirty sand, cold water, normal colored water, trash on the beach...BUT their were tons of shells.  The kids were in heaven!  We are excited to go back when the shore is FULL of sand dollars...we just are at the wrong season now.  So it isn't Destin but good thing my kids are content!
