We finished up our busy weekend with John getting pinned and taking an oath to be a Captain in the US Air Force. He could ask any military person to do it so he invited Bro. Liechty to. The Liechtys came to our house on Sunday evening and took charge of the event. They explain to the kids what was happening and Terri read them a book about the constitution. Zak and Makelle got to remove his lieutenant stuff and Valynn and I got to pin him. After his oath Terri taught us how to toast. We all got glasses with raspberries and ginger ale and toasted John. It was a great day! We look forward to what we will experience as part of the Air Force.
