Sunny Days

The last few weeks we have had some sunny days off and on. On this particular day we got close to 70 degrees and the kids got in their swim clothes to play and wash the car. It was a much needed sunny day. I think Heavenly Father knew every mother in the world needed the sun to come out for at least the day. The kids were sick for the first day and Lantz could only sit on my lap because he was miserable but it was still nice to just go outside and enjoy the warmth of the sun. It is amazing how wonderful it was to feel the sun and how it brightened our day and life couldn't be better. As I was outside enjoying the day it made me think of how Christ is the Son and he gives comfort and peace and that all things are better because of him and his light. I am grateful for the sun and the Son. Together they make my life the happiest.

During this time we also got a trampoline. My friend found us one for free and has been storing it at her house all winter. We were going to give it to the kids for Christmas but not having a truck we weren't able to get. We finally got it and it was perfect timing because of the nice weather. I wasn't sure how much the kids would jump on it because they are always scared to jump when others jump and they fall down. Well, let's just say they have played on it for 2 weeks straight every day. They LOVE it!
Zak loves to have John bounce him high.
Lantz enjoying the swings.
Of course their favorite time on the tramp is when Dad is playing.

I LOVE Makelle's hair!

We love you sunshine and we can't wait for SPRING!!!
